DoD 8570 / 8140 Baseline Certifications
DoDD 8570 was the original federal policy requiring certification for personnel with access to DoD information assurance tasks. It was replaced in 2015 by DoDD 8140, which currently governs training and certification requirements for contractors, active-duty, civilian staff, and others working with DoD information systems.
